Get Help NowUS Locksmith is a licensed (Lic #00443LK) locksmith company serving Lauderhill since 2004. Lauderhill is one of the most condominium-dense cities in Broward County, and most of that housing went up between 1972 and 1985 — which means we spend more time here on association rekeys and worn 1970s hardware than on almost any other kind of call.
Built around what Lauderhill actually calls about: unit turnovers, association keying, and hardware that is fifty years old.

Unit-turnover rekeys are our most common Lauderhill job — usually same-day.
Association master key systems: one management key, individual unit keys, no cross-access.
Lauderhill covers about eight square miles across the 33311, 33313, 33319 and 33351 ZIP codes and houses roughly 74,000 people — a large share of them in condominium and townhome associations rather than detached houses. That single fact shapes almost every call we get here.
The Inverrary corridor along Environ Boulevard and Inverrary Drive is the clearest example. Buildings like the Manors of Inverrary, Garden Lakes and the Environ phases went up in the 1970s and early 1980s, many of them now 55-plus communities. The original entry hardware in those buildings has been rekeyed, drilled, forced and re-pinned by decades of different locksmiths, and it shows: cylinders with mismatched pin stacks, strike plates that no longer align, deadbolts that need a shoulder to throw. Farther northwest, Cascades of Lauderhill in 33351 is newer stock with different problems — mostly builder-grade hardware on lakeside units that nobody has touched since handover.
The job that defines Lauderhill for us is the turnover rekey. A unit changes hands or a tenant moves out, and the new occupant reasonably wants to know that no one else holds a working key. That is a $39 rekey, not a $200 lock replacement, and we say so — including to management companies who call us expecting to be sold new hardware for forty units.
Broward dispatch covers 33313, 33319 and 33351 around the clock. Typical arrival: 15–20 minutes.
We accept all major Credit Cards, Cash, and Zelle. Receipts provided.

Lauderhill pricing runs at or slightly below the Broward County average, and the reason is structural: condominium unit doors are standardised within a building, so rekeying eight units in the same Inverrary phase takes far less time per door than eight scattered houses. Associations and management companies rekeying multiple units at once should call for volume pricing rather than paying the per-unit rate below — it is meaningfully cheaper.

Not every honest answer costs us money. This one did, and it was still the right call.
A management company overseeing a building off Environ Boulevard called after a maintenance contractor left on bad terms. He had held a key that opened every unit door in the building — forty of them. They wanted a quote to replace all forty locks and asked how soon we could source the hardware.
Our technician walked the building first. The existing deadbolts were serviceable: solid, correctly sized, no drilling damage. What the building needed was not new locks. It was new pin stacks and a properly designed master key system, so management would hold one key, each resident would hold theirs, and no contractor key would ever open more than the door it was issued for.
The Outcome: Forty units rekeyed into a new master system over two days. The invoice came to roughly a quarter of what replacement would have cost. They have called us for every turnover since.
"Bought a unit in the Manors of Inverrary and the seller handed over four keys with no idea who else had copies. Rekeyed both doors the same afternoon for less than I expected to pay for one. Straight answer, no upselling."
- Yvette C.
"The deadbolt on my Cascades unit had needed a hard shove for two years. I assumed the door was warped. Turned out the strike plate had shifted about a quarter inch. He repositioned it in fifteen minutes and would not charge me for a lock I did not need."
- Andre B.
"I manage three buildings off NW 44th Street. They handled a full turnover rekey on nine units in one day and gave me a written key schedule so I know exactly which key opens what. That schedule alone was worth the call."
- Denise F.
