Price range ($150-$100) ASSA M80 is a great lock as it is the only lock in this price range that has a high kick in resistance. You would be surprised to learn that even deadbolts can easily be kicked into in order to break a lock.
This lock is a great alternative if you chose not to spend $100 more for the Medeco Maxum lock..
Price range ($100-$0) We at US Locksmith recommend going with the Kwikset 99800-087 or a Schlage deadbolt. These locks will most definitely get the job done but is not as breakin resistant as the other locks. The advantage of going
with the Kwikset 99800-087 is the convenience of rekeying the lock- it is very simple. You can easily rekey a lock for temporary access lets say if you have gusts and then rekey the lock back to its original state without assistance
